What Do I Need To Become a Friendly Visiting Program Volunteer?

Training

All required training will be provided by the Alzheimer Society of Peterborough & Area. Sessions will enhance the knowledge and skills of potential volunteers. All required training and screening must be completed prior to volunteer placement with the Friendly Visiting Program. Volunteers will be asked to attend the ongoing training and information sharing sessions in order to ensure that their skills and information are current.
