Volunteer Caregiver Relief

Volunteer In-Home Caregiver Relief Service

An Exciting Volunteer Experience!

A Volunteer's gift of time:  providing a few hours of relief for an Alzheimer Caregiver.

Purpose Of This Volunteer Program

This Volunteer Program has been designed to provide in-home Caregiver relief to those caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias.  Specially trained volunteers will offer non-medical support to Caregivers (the clients) in their homes by providing companionship and friendship to the care recipient.  This service will offer the client relief from his/her caregiving responsibilities.  The Volunteer In-Home Caregiver Relief Service is available to those residing in Peterborough County and City.
