About Us
The Alzheimer Society of Peterborough & Area serves the counties of Peterborough, Northumberland and Haliburton. It is estimated that more than 3,000 people in our catchment area have Alzheimer Disease or a related dementia. It is estimated that this number will grow to more than 8,000 by the year 2025.
The Alzheimer Society of Peterborough & Area provides supportive services at no charge to families and individuals affected by Alzheimer Disease, education for caregivers both professional and non-professional, and respite services for caregivers.
The Alzheimer Society of Peterborough offers "help for today, hope for tomorrow".
